Are you using the updated 2015 Fair Work Information Statement for your new employees?
The updated version of the Fair Work Information Statement (FWIS), effective 1 July 2015, has been issued and can be downloaded from our website. The revised FWIS incorporates changes to the indexed salary for the high income threshold which is detailed above.
Just a reminder that under the National Employment Standards, employers must give every new employee a Fair Work Information Statement before, or as soon as possible after, the employee starts working for them.
Employers should keep a record of the date that the FWIS is provided and whether it is handed personally to the employee, emailed or mailed.
