Updated Fair Work Information Statement

Download a copy of the latest Fair Work Information Statement released on 1 July 2011, mandatory for all new employees.

An updated version of the The Fair Work Information Statement (FWIS) has been released, incorporating the indexed salary for the high income threshold, effective 1 July 2011. Download the updated version from the Your HRmanager website.

Just a reminder the FWIS must be provided to all new employees before, or as soon as reasonably possible, after they start employment. Employers should keep a record of the date that the FWIS is provided and the manner in which it is provided. ie whether it is handed personally to the employee, emailed or mailed.

It is essential that employers comply with this requirement to provide the Fair Work Information Statement to new employees.
