The updated version of the Fair Work Information Statement (FWIS), effective 1 July 2016, has been issued.

The FWIS can be  downloaded here. The revised FWIS incorporates changes to the indexed salary for the high income threshold. 

Just a reminder that under the National Employment Standards, employers must give every new employee a Fair Work Information Statement before, or as soon as possible after, the employee starts working for them.

Employers should keep a record of the date that the FWIS is provided and whether it is handed personally to the employee, emailed or mailed.
